Wedding Receptions

Every wedding reception is different.  For one simple reason:  every couple is different.

There are a number of traditional events that many people do at their wedding.  I will lay these typical events out for you.  But it is up to you and your fiancé to decide what you want to do at your reception.

When I talk to couples, I really try to emphasize that I am there to help the evening go smoothly.  Before a wedding we will meet and discuss how you want things to happen at your reception.  Based on that, generally then at the reception it is one of my main jobs to guide you through the events for the evening, so you don't have to worry about them.

Below, I have included an example wedding reception format.  It is simply to be used as a guide.  It is up to you to decide what you want for your special day.

1. Guests arrive
